We love this place and hope you do too. To keep it this way, we just ask that you follow our common-sense club guidelines below.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
  • Please follow all health and safety instructions and requests from Revl staff
  • Wear gear that’s appropriate and comfortable to exercise in – no jeans, bare chests or bikinis. Please don’t wear anything offensive or intimidating to others
  • Wear appropriate sports footwear. No open-toe footwear. No work boots. No stilettos. Bare feet only in classes that require it
  • Use deodorant. Be considerate of others
  • Don’t bring your bags to class. Leave all your gear in the lockers and cubby holes provided
  • Towels are compulsory in workout and sauna areas. A large clean towel must be placed between your body and the sauna bench.
  • Wipe the equipment after use with wipes provided around the club. Rubbish in the bins please
  • Put all loose equipment and free weights away after use
  • Don’t place additional free weights onto an exercise machine and don’t stand on exercise benches
  • Be mindful of time spent on each machine. If requested equipment is to be shared with another member
  • Please don’t come here under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Anyone who does will be asked to leave immediately and may have their membership terminated
  • You are not permitted to train or coach others in our clubs, whether there is any form of payment or not
  • Do not let non-members, unbooked visitors or anyone without valid secure access into the club outside staffed hours. Your app, QR code or access credentials are for your use only and must not be shared.
  • Stop using any equipment or facility that is damaged, faulty or behaving unusually. Place an out-of-order sign where available and advise staff during staffed hours or email studio@revl.co.nz. Do not attempt to repair, reset or restart sauna, electrical or access-control equipment yourself.
  • Equipment is not to be used when a “please don’t use me” sign has been placed on the equipment
  • In a medical emergency, call 111 at the earliest opportunity and use a fixed emergency-help button or emergency-help pendant to alert our security team. Report faults, damage and non-urgent security concerns to staff or studio@revl.co.nz.
New Recovery Facility
  • A valid booking is required. You may only use the facility during your booked time and must leave promptly at the end of the booking.
  • Sauna bookings are 45 minutes. This does not mean you should remain in the sauna continuously for 45 minutes. We recommend no longer than 15 mins at a time.
  • Maximum occupancy is six people in the traditional sauna and two people in the infrared sauna.
  • Recovery facility access is for the person who made the booking. Don’t admit unbooked users or guests.
  • To use the sauna and cold contrast shower you must be at least 16 years old. If you are between 16-18 you must have written consent by your parent or legal guardian before using the recovery facility.
  • Please shower before using the sauna
  • Please wear swimwear and use a clean towel to sit on. No gym gear or shoes in the sauna
  • Be respectful of other members and their enjoyment of the space
  • No phones are allowed in the sauna area
  • Please do not add liquid, oils, fragrances or other substances onto any heater unless expressly permitted by Revl signage
  • Drink plenty of water and leave if you feel faint or dizzy
  • Do not shave or use body products in the sauna or cold shower
  • Please seek medical advice before using the sauna if you have any medical condition, are on medication, or are pregnant
  • Revl may refuse or suspend recovery facility access where a person appears unwell, impaired, is behaving unsafely or has breached these rules.
  • Revl may close any part of the recovery facility for cleaning, maintenance, safety, operational or emergency reasons.
  • You must comply with the applicable booking, cancellation and late-cancellation terms.
PERSONAL BELONGINGS
  • It’s up to you to keep your belongings safe. Your valuables should not be left unattended

  • Don’t photograph or video anyone on club premises without the express consent of every single person who may be in the images, whether staff, personal trainers or members
  • Don’t post online, broadcast, stream or publish any photo which contains an image of any person other than you or someone who has given you permission to do this
  • If you want to use any photo taken on club premises for commercial purposes you must get written permission from Revl
